GW/NW-038 – Moel Ysgyfarnogod
18/09/2020
Another day with a
fierce wind
I was hampered by the wind once more as I set up the pole as high as possible. The wind was gusting at 40mp so no HF again unless I wanted to take something home in bits. There’s hardly any protection on this one as I have experienced before. I qualified within 5 minutes with chasers who had been waiting for me to summit. After my brief pile-up was over I laid as low as possible and waited for Karen and Neil to summit Moel Hebog as a brief radio message had told me where they were. They too were being buffeted by the wind so a quick s2s and I was on my way down.…thanks everyone.
