Another local summit on a misty and cold day

Not the best of days but I was keen to get out and hit another local summit. At least there was a cairn on top so that I could hide from whatever the weather would throw at me. It was a fantastic day on 2m VHF with 80m and 60m just about working. Quite a few s2s I the log with Rod, Viki, Philip and Don PLP braving the elements.

Antenna - 3 band link dipole (60/40/20 (+15m extensions +80m loading coils)

(VHF) Yaesu FT270 & Yaesu FT2 (5watts) into a ‘Slim G'.

Antenna support – 5m Fishing pole
