Chasing s2s

Sara MW7SRA was going out to activate her first SOTA summit so I thought I’d activate Disgwylfa Fawr and get an s2s with her. Mission accomplished as well as a log full of chasers and well done Sara.

Nice s2s with Karen and Neil on Moel Gyw GW/NW-053 and Adrian on Stiperstones G/WB-003…thanks everybody.

My activation set-up

HF:- Elecraft KX2 (8 watts) and 4Ah LiPo

Antenna - 3 band link dipole (60/40/20 (+15m extensions +80m loading coils)

(VHF) Yaesu FT270 & Yaesu FT2 (5watts) into a ‘Slim G’.

Antenna support – 5m Fishing pole
