Second of the day..timed the s2s nicely

I arrived on summit just in time to catch Jimmy and Tom on Drygarn Fawr with a bonus s21s with Alistair on Aran Fawddwy. I had set up by the beacon basket mounted on a plinth and a large conical shaped cairn built to celebrate the Silver jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 1977.

HF:- Elecraft KX2 (8 watts) and 4Ah LiPo

Antenna - 3 band link dipole (60/40/20 (+15m extensions +80m loading coils)

(VHF) Yaesu FT270 & Yaesu FT2 (5watts) into a ‘cable tie’ dipole.

Antenna support – 5m Fishing pole
