G/WB-017 – Shobdon Hill
29/11/2019
My second of the day and it was
getting cold
I parked at SO 407 642 but maybe I could have parked a few
hundred meters further in at SO 406 643 but I was not sure if it was private or
not? It’s a long 2.88km walk to the
summit but at least it’s a good track. I could feel that it was getting colder
and as I reached the designated summit I could see that the ground was white
with frost and the sun was low in the sky…short activation I think.
No s2s and only 2 on 2m FM. 60m worked well and the regulars piled in to give me a quick qualification and activation. So another complete and unique in the log…back to the car for coffee. …thanks everybody.
