Seeking s2s and
another unique
I arrived a little early on to this one as my journey down the M4 didn’t involve any delays.
It would be a long wait before Viki and Rod
arrived on their summit so I put up a spot and went straight on to 60m with the
intention of going back to this band later. I was greeted by a comment from my
friend Frank MW0OFA “You are early” followed by a nice chat for a few minutes.
Two more chasers made my log and as the band went quiet I got up and clipped in
the 80m loading coil which brought a good run of chasers especially a few
dropping in from the WAB net…thanks everyone.

I went back to 60m with the volume on the 2m rig turned up
to await Viki. I had a lovely QSO with my friend Victor in GI land. One more
caller then silence but the FT270 burst into life and Viki and Rod were in my
log on both 2m and 70cms…thank you both.

Back to 60m to pick up anyone who might have missed me because I was early then a visit to 40m. I was aware that I had another summit lined up so I packed up and headed back to the car.
