GM/SI-115 Sithean Bhealaich Chumhaing

GM/SI-115 Sithean Bhealaich Chumhaing

22/04/2019

2nd of 5 on the Isle of Skye

What a cracking day but very windy.

Len and Gwyneth dropped us off at NG491467 and we headed East up to the trig point on the top of  Sithean Bhealaich Chumhaing GM/SI-115. Len and Gwyneth were walking a coastal path route just North East of Portree taking in Torvaig which was just below us.

Our GPS track

On our way

This was a  really easy ascent which took us to the top within 50 minutes disturbing a fox on our way but sadly no time to get the camera out.

Once set up in a convenient depression with shelter from the wind I managed a good run of chasers on both 40m and 60m. Thanks everyone.
