3rd of 5 on the Isle of Skye
Today Len and Gwyneth joined us for this one and thank goodness the weather had been dry over the past few weeks as due to the boggy nature of the terrain around this summit I think it would have been difficult under foot with some deep peat hags.…you have been warned.
We parked the car at NG434412 and followed the track towards the communication towers.
There is a nice cairn on top which surrounds the trig. This was to be a short activation and it was great to find that 40m was really working well. Three s2s with friends who had gone out to catch me on Skye so thank you one and all and not forgetting all the other chasers.
