Cracking day.

Cracking day with glorious sunshine but a little bit chilly. Although there are many ways up to PyG Phil G4OBK's route on SOTA mapping is a good one although a bit boggy to begin with. Radio was fun but I did have an issue with my 4Ah LiPo and had to cancel my visit to 40m. Anyway 41 contacts ITL...1 on 70cms, 15 on 2m, 15 on 60m, 8 on 20m, and 2 on 15m with 8 s2s. Best 2m s2s was with Shane G6WBS/p on Red Screes G/LD-017...I’ve been there a few times.Although I was alerted by S57S Aleksander on the DX cluster 15m never took off for me despite the fact I was 5/9 with him in Slovenia with my by then sub 5 watts...battery was going down although the band was open...will have to investigate that battery.
