Another early start from home.

What a great day. 31 contacts and 13 s2s. Thank goodness for the breeze otherwise I would have needed more than the 1.5 litres of water I was carrying .. I used the last few drops on the road back to the car...there was more on ice in the boot.

I decided to leave HF at home to save weight in the expected heat. I used Simon G4TJC's gps route from SOTA mapping .. spot on. It's 2.75 miles by this route with many false summits. There are other routes so look on the SOTA Mapping page.
