GW/SW-005 Fan Fawr

GW/SW-005 Fan Fawr

Loads of s2s

Well, what a great morning in GW land. Ben GW4BML's Alert for Pen y Fan GW/SW-001 prompted me to Alert for Fan Fawr GW/SW-005. That kicked off a flurry of alerts, e-mails flying around and some chat on our GW Summits On The Air Facebook group with promises from others to be out on the mountains. I had an enjoyable but cold and damp morning with 6 s2s, 9 2m-fm contacts and 7 on 60m. I also had the pleasure of meeting up with Ben and family at Storey Arms...thanks Ben. It's great to see a growing band of new activators with a few oldies trying to keep up.

My route to the summit

The carpark for Fan Fawr...there was some event going on?
